$SPROUT is the token for Sprout, a little digital creature you raise through play and bridge-building challenges. Help it cross the next gap and look after it between lessons. Its journal records your attempts, including the bridges that didn’t work.

OK, this is a bit of a long one, highest conviction in awhile:
imagine that Pash wasn't a scammer, that's $sprout
ex-Open AI, followed by Sam Altman, communal AI experiment that is token powered
SPROUT is basically a community-raised AI creature. The idea is that people teach Sprout lessons, then it gets put into unfamiliar challenges to see whether it actually learned anything.
The project was introduced by Sheryl Hsu, whose X bio says “Prev OpenAI.” In her launch post she describes Sprout as a learning experiment people can participate in from the beginning, with the creature remembering the people who helped teach it. For me the potential is attachment. If Sprout actually remembers lessons, remembers who taught them, visibly changes over time and occasionally surprises people with what it learned, the community can start feeling like they’re raising something together. That is a pretty natural meme/social mechanic. But it’s literally around day one, so there’s still a lot unproven: how meaningful the learning is, how persistent the memory becomes, and whether the promised compute transparency is delivered. Very early experiment, so there is a concept, but the usual new-project risk is definitely here.
The dev is ex-OpenAI and followed by Sam Altman and Marc Andreessen. Could be nothing, could be something… but one thing is clear: this is not your average memecoin dev.
